We are hiring for the following internship position:
About the internship program:
Our journalist interns will set the bar for other writers who publish on Thoxt. Working on pieces involving solid research, and investigative journalism, you get to take a bold stance.
You work will not be dull and cliched ChatGPT-esque pieces, but unique, bold articles that are conversation starters. Your news should create news.
This will be 90 day long internship at Thoxt where you would learn how to research, create high-quality work, SEO, social media engagement and more.
Interns will have the option to select their own topics to work on from a given pool of ideas, and will be able to create work under the guidance of our team. Our team will give them a step-by-step approach on how to create work suitable for a world-class digital publication, and help them improve it. Interns will also have the opportunity to give each other feedback on their work.
Work Expectations
You'll be required to work part-time (3-5 hours per day), Monday to Friday. Timings are flexible & days off may be granted for schoolwork or personal days. Please only apply if you can give this internship the required time.

Dates and Deadlines
The date of early applications is Feb 15, 2025. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a phone interview by Feb 18, 2025.
Last date to apply is Feb 18, 2025.
Internship starts on Feb 23, 2025. Orientation will be on Feb 21.
Stipend and Certificate
Stipend is INR 4500 per month for target completion, with additional monthly bonus depending on published articles. For publication, interns are responsible for completion of their articles including SEO, editing, revision & graphics.
Interns will also get the opportunity to get their work published on other websites of our parent company (Shilpa Ahuja Media, SAM) if selected, and if it meets the journalistic/quality standards.
You will receive written feedback from our team members to help you improve your work. Upon completion of the internship program, interns will receive a certificate of completion, and depending on your performance, a letter of recommendation.
Internships are a great way to learn new skills, improve your work under the guidance of experienced professionals, gain valuable work experience, build a resume, and get references. Internships are also a great chance to meet fellow journalist interns from all over India.
