Instructions
Every day, a level is chosen for everybody to play, between 4 (basic) and 8 (expert).
I'll think of a random word of that length and you have to guess it, in length + 1 tries. You'll have a time limit of tries * 30 seconds.
- Example: If the day's level is 5, you have 6 tries to guess the 5-letter word in 3 minutes.
After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was to the word:
- Green: The letter is in the word and in the correct spot.
- Yellow: The letter is in the word but in the wrong spot.
- Grey: The letter is not in the word in any spot.
Scoring
You get 6 points for each correct letter in the correct spot, and 3 points for each correct letter in the wrong spot on every try.
If you guess the word correctly, you get:
- 5 points for each second remaining on the clock.
- 30 points for each remaining try.
Rules
- The word is a common English word, and no proper nouns are used.
- Your guesses MAY include non-dictionary words or random letters.
- You can only guess words of the same length as the level.
