KL Rahul, 32, has been a significant presence in Indian cricket, making his Test debut against Australia in 2014 and amassing 2,969 runs in 52 Tests with an average of 34.52. In 2024, he featured in four Tests, scoring 222 runs at an average of 44.40, including two fifties. KL Rahul, currently a part of IPL 2025, opted out of Delhi Capitals’ opening match against Lucknow Super Giants due to Athiya’s due date. Reportedly, the cricketer returned to Mumbai on Sunday to be with his actress wife. But soon he will join the Delhi Capital squad ahead of their second game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 30th.
