Polanski's Breast-Hypnosis Claim Revisited in Resurfaced Interview

Zack Polanski’s assertion that he immediately apologised for suggesting hypnosis could increase a woman’s breast size is being challenged after a resurfaced interview where he appeared to defend the claim shortly after it first surfaced.

In a BBC Radio Humberside interview broadcast on 18 June 2013, six days after an initial Sun article, Polanski—then working as a hypnotherapist—told the presenter there was anecdotal evidence of breast growth and that it could happen. He spoke of a “successful project” with the journalist and said he wasn’t charging people for breast enhancement at that time.

The resurfaced footage stands in tension with his later statements as a Green Party politician. When asked by ITV’s Good Morning Britain in September last year whether he believed the claim at the time, he replied that he did not. In 2024, he said he had apologized the day after the article appeared and recognised that the remark could be offensive.

A Labour source seized on the clip to question his credibility, saying his ego had grown and that his insistence he had been misrepresented over the matter was not credible. The exchange highlights how past comments can re-emerge to challenge public figures’ consistency and accountability, particularly for party leadership under scrutiny.
