A Nashik court on Tuesday remanded Nida Khan to police custody till May 11 in connection with the TCS Nashik harassment case. The police say the probe into nine molestation and harassment incidents at the IT major's Nashik unit is ongoing, and eight people have been arrested so far.
In a related development, an AIMIM corporator from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has been booked on charges of harbouring Ms. Khan while she allegedly absconded.
In another development, senior party leader Devendra Fadnavis said the investigation is underway in the TCS 'conversion' case.
Police are focusing on collecting evidence and timelines as the case attracts political attention.
