Singer Tate McRae has been making waves, or rather, going "Tate Mcrazy" in Paris, proving to be one of the busiest stars at Paris Fashion Week. Her schedule has been packed with dazzling appearances, showcasing an array of stunning outfits that have certainly captured attention.
Before the official start of PFW, McRae set the tone with a grand entrance at the popular hotspot Lapérouse. She arrived in a striking vintage black silk jacquard halter dress by Versace, expertly sourced by her stylist Lucy Gaston from Raffe Vintage. This iconic look was elevated with mesh peep-toe Chanel shoes featuring a lucite heel and a Dior Diva bag from John Galliano's era.
To add a contemporary twist, she paired it with sporty wraparound Dior sunglasses, skillfully avoiding a simple Y2K homage.
Her love affair with vintage Versace continued as she later appeared at the Ritz Paris.
This time, she opted for another Donatella-infused little black dress: a bustier minidress with an asymmetrical hem and the signature Medusa motif on the straps, also from Raffe Vintage. She completed this ensemble with pointy-toe Tom Ford python heels and a classic black clutch, solidifying her status as a vintage fashion connoisseur.
Beyond the runway, McRae's off-duty style provided excellent examples of transitional dressing. One notable look included a semi-sheer black sweater layered over a white tee, paired with black shorts, knee-high Jimmy Choo boots, and a pop of color courtesy of a beaded Valentino shoulder bag. This demonstrated her versatility and ability to blend comfort with high fashion.
McRae was also a prominent figure in the front rows of several key shows. She graced the audiences at both Tom Ford and Schiaparelli's spring 2027 presentations. For Haider Ackermann's sleek and sophisticated show, she chose a black strapless jumpsuit with a square neckline, paired with elegant pointy-toe pumps, exuding a statuesque presence.
Her approach to Schiaparelli was distinctly softer yet equally glamorous; she wore an oyster-colored two-piece featuring a sculpted, plunging bodice on a long-sleeve top and a flowing satin maxi skirt.
This was accessorized with a gold bijoux clutch, white pointy-toe pumps, and ethereal angelic waves.
Later in her Parisian journey, McRae reverted to her favored all-black aesthetic. For an outing with Hailey Bieber, which also included a stop at her Tate 01 fragrance pop-up, she donned a boudoir-inspired look: a black lace tank top over a black lace bra, complemented by black leather pants, embellished Giuseppe Zanotti heels, and another stylish Valentino bag.
Tate McRae's Paris Fashion Week journey has truly been a masterclass in celebrity styling, blending vintage finds with contemporary trends and showcasing her undeniable fashion prowess.
