Chitrakoot on High Alert: Mandakini River Overflows, Drones Deployed!

Chitrakoot is currently under a high alert as the Mandakini River has overflowed, prompting swift action from district authorities. The situation, while described as "under control" by the District Magistrate (DM), has led to extensive precautionary measures, including the deployment of drone cameras to monitor flood-affected areas and assess the ground situation.

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams are actively engaged in round-the-clock rescue operations.

The DM has urged the public to exercise extreme caution and strictly follow administrative instructions, particularly by avoiding proximity to the river and its ghats.

Authorities are especially focused on the situation at Ramghat, a key area affected by the river's overflow.
