Rajpal Yadav's Properties Face Auction Over ₹16.61 Cr Loan! 🚨 #Bollywood

Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav finds himself in deeper financial waters as the Central Bank of India prepares to auction two of his properties in Shahjahanpur. This drastic measure comes as a result of an unpaid loan amounting to a hefty ₹16.61 crore. The online auction is slated for September 9, marking a significant turn in the actor's ongoing legal and financial challenges.

The loan in question was originally taken to fund Yadav's directorial debut, the film 'Aata Pata Lapata'. According to reports, the actor secured this loan from businessman Madhav Gopal Agrawal. Agrawal reportedly agreed to the loan after emotional appeals from Rajpal's wife, Radha Yadav. The agreement explicitly stated that the repayment was binding, irrespective of the film's box office performance or any other setbacks. Yadav had also provided a personal guarantee for the transaction, which was strictly defined as a loan and not an investment, a point emphasized by the businessman, noting that investments typically don't involve personal guarantees or post-dated cheques.

Following a prolonged period of non-repayment, the Central Bank of India stepped in, taking possession of the mortgaged properties. The assets now earmarked for auction in Shahjahanpur include agricultural land and a house located in a village, along with another property situated within the city. Bank records confirm these details.

Adding to the complexity, properties belonging to Yadav's wife, Radha Yadav, and his mother, Godavari Yadav, were also pledged as guarantors for the loan. Consequently, the bank has extended its action to these properties as well. Beyond Shahjahanpur, there are also indications that the process for auctioning some of Yadav's properties in Mumbai is currently underway, suggesting an even broader scope to his financial predicaments.

As of now, the actor has not released any official statement regarding the auction notice or the substantial outstanding loan amount. On the professional front, Yadav was recently seen in Ahmed Khan's 'Welcome to the Jungle' and is anticipated to appear next in Priyadarshan's 'Haiwaan', sharing the screen with prominent actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. This latest development undeniably compounds the series of legal and financial issues that have plagued the popular comedian and character actor over recent years.
