Telangana Global Summit 2025 showcases tech-led development

A two-day Telangana Global Summit-2025 kickstarted at Bharat Future City near Hyderabad, drawing delegates who welcomed a comprehensive showcase of the state's latest development and tech initiatives. Spread across 100 acres in Ranga Reddy district, the event features LED-enabled exhibits highlighting government projects like the Musi Rejuvenation initiative, a cybersecurity pavilion by the State police, and displays by aerospace firms such as Dhruva Space and Safran, along with ICOMM-MEIL, IIT Hyderabad, and stalls from Welfare, Agriculture, Education, Tourism and other agencies. Visitors navigate immersive experiences, including a digital tunnel, a sophisticated war room, and thematic zones spotlighting flagship programs like Indira Mahila Shakti under SERP, Telangana. A robotic welcome committee adds a futuristic touch, greeting attendees and explaining the summit’s objectives, with a selfie-worthy moment as Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Governor Jishnu Dev Varma inspected the stalls during the inauguration.

Among the standout features was a three-in-one hybrid bicycle crafted by G. Gagan Chandra, a student from ZPHS Balmoor in Nagarkurnool, underscoring the emphasis on grassroots innovation alongside big-ticket projects. The weekend event also highlights a strong security backbone, with authorities deploying 4,500 police personnel across a three-tier setup and leveraging cutting-edge technology to monitor and manage crowds and logistics.

Delegates, including participants from Bengaluru, credited the summit with offering a vivid glimpse into Telangana’s emerging capabilities and its coordinated push toward innovation and development. The displays reflect a clear focus on integrating technology with governance to propel the state’s growth and visibility on the national and global stage.
