Iran Uses Lego Style Animation To Push Narrative In War Of Messages With US And Israel

As Iran pays back to the US and Israeli attacks with missiles and drones, it is also waging a propaganda battle with a Lego-type animation video featuring toy versions of Donald Trump, bombs, and warplanes. The state-run Revayat-e Fath institute broadcast its video on state television after the attacks of February 28, 2013, resulting in the deaths of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and triggering the war in the Middle East between the US and Israel.

Silently, it seems to be aimed at being able to reach the globe in terms of a war that has shaken energy and stock markets, and split the opinion of the world. The video opens with Lego-like images of the US President Trump with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the devil himself staring at an album called the Epstein file (sic).

Trump, who is furious, presses a red button and the war starts, and sends a missile through the clouds, which hits what appears to be a classroom where toys depict girls with pink headscarves listening to their cheerful teacher. The words on the board that the teacher writes, that is, My homeland is my life, disappear, and the screen becomes dark. In the following scene, a pair of pink shoes and a pink backpack are on the rubble of a strike.

The bag is picked by an Iranian officer (also in the form of Lego) who bursts into tears and then ironically becomes furious. On the first day of the war, Iran accused the United States and Israel of leading a lethal attack on a school in Minab in the south. The AFP has not been able to gain access to the premises in order to confirm the incident, nor get an independent confirmation on the toll.

The video continues with a nationalist score playing as Iranian Revolutionary Guards seek revenge by themselves attacking Israel and US interests in other parts of the region. The video finishes with a message that it was prepared in remembrance of students who were killed during the strike, which were martyred by Zionist and American terrorists.
