A White House official confirmed that the United States will take part in Oman instead of Turkiye, though officials stressed the talks' success is not guaranteed and value allies' support.
The move comes as Arab and Muslim leaders urged diplomacy rather than walking away from talks, reflecting a regional push to keep channels open despite disagreements.
