CJP's Jantar Mantar Stir: Demanding Answers on Paper Leaks & Pradhan's Resignation!

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), led by Abhijeet Dipke, has escalated its campaign against examination paper leaks and student suicides, holding its second significant protest at Jantar Mantar in the national capital. The primary demand echoing through the protest site is the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Dipke issued an appeal to parents and supporters to join the stir, initially asking them to converge by 6 PM, then later calling for a 9 AM Sunday gathering. The protest saw participants armed with plates and spoons, a symbolic gesture reminiscent of Covid-era demonstrations directed at the government. This 'thali-chammach' banging continued despite police warnings, underscoring the protestors' determination.

Throughout the day, the protest faced several challenges and confrontations with authorities. Police reportedly denied permission to extend the protest, with officers warning they might have to remove protesters by force if they didn't comply. CJP alleged disruptions, including lighting being switched off at the site and difficulties in obtaining water, which Dipke's team labeled as a "violation of human rights." Despite a massive security deployment and the police holding up warning signs, Dipke and his team refused to budge, stating they would not move from the site.

Abhijeet Dipke, reaffirming the CJP's stance, called for a 'Jail Bharo Andolan' (fill the jails movement) if their demands were not met. He also claimed that police were on the verge of arresting him.
