China urges citizens to avoid Japan as Taiwan row escalates

Beijing has issued a travel advisory urging Chinese citizens to avoid travel to Japan amid escalating tensions over Taiwan. The warning follows remarks by Japan’s prime minister candidate Sanae Takaichi, who said Tokyo could take military action if Beijing attacked Taiwan.
