KSH International IPO: GMP Signals Flat-to-Discounted Listing Today
KSH International's magnet winding wires IPO signals a cautious, possibly flat or discounted listing on Dalal Street today.
Shares of KSH International will make their Dalal Street debut on Tuesday, December 23, as the Pune-based exporter of magnet winding wires readies for listing. The IPO offered shares in the price band of Rs 16-18 per share with a lot size of 39 shares, aiming to raise Rs 710 crore, a plan that was later trimmed to Rs 644.45 crore.
Unofficial GMP signals ahead of listing suggested a flat-to-discounted debut, with the grey market trading at a discount of roughly Rs 2-5 per share before the issue closed, while GMP during bidding hovered around Rs 4-6. The IPO drew only 83 per cent subscription, with about 1.15 lakh applications, after the issue size was cut.
KSH International, incorporated in 1979, is the third-largest magnet winding wires manufacturer in India and the largest exporter to OEMs across sectors like power, renewables, railways, automotive and industrials. The company operates under the KSH brand and is based in Pune.
Earlier, the fresh issue was not trimmed but the offer-for-sale portion was reduced from Rs 290 crore to Rs 224.45 crore. The IPO's overall size and the mixed broker views—mostly advising long-term bidders—have investors weighing the risks and rewards of joining the listing.
Brokerage houses were varied in their stance, with many suggesting the IPO for long-term investors given the company's scale and export focus. If the listing performs in line with expectations, KSH International could push investors who anticipate growth in power, renewables and automotive segments to consider the stock.
