An 81-year-old former schoolmate of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Asgarali Vohra, has sought the Prime Minister's intervention in a protracted land dispute case. Vohra, who reportedly studied with PM Modi at BN School in Vadnagar, Gujarat, met with him recently to appeal for justice in a matter that he claims involves encroachment and forged documents.
According to reports, Vohra's plea centers on a long-running property dispute where he alleges foul play. His direct appeal to the Prime Minister highlights the severity and complexity of the case, pushing for a higher-level investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The Prime Minister's office has apparently taken note of the appeal.
