Film enthusiasts and music lovers, mark your calendars! Director Paul Thomas Anderson's highly anticipated concert film, "CAMERON WINTER AT CARNEGIE HALL," is set to embark on an exclusive North American 35mm theatrical tour starting November 20. Distributed by Janus Films and Criterion, this cinematic event captures the mesmerizing solo performance of Cameron Winter at the iconic Carnegie Hall in December 2025.

Winter's Carnegie Hall appearance came at a pivotal moment in his career.

Just a year prior, his solo record "Heavy Metal" had crowned him an "iconoclastic voice in American songwriting." The performance also followed his band Geese's mainstream breakthrough with their album "Getting Killed," which propelled them to a Saturday Night Live debut and widespread recognition on the global festival circuit.

The 2025 Carnegie Hall performance itself was a sensation, with videos of Winter's moving, minimalist piano renditions of his songs quickly going viral. Adding to the buzz was the presence of Paul Thomas Anderson, who was on stage, capturing the event with his signature massive, vintage film setup. Co-produced by Benny Safdie, known for his work on "The Smashing Machine" and "Uncut Gems," the film promises a unique viewing experience.

The exclusive 35mm tour kicks off on November 20 in New York, with screenings at Village East by Angelika and BAM Rose Cinemas. The film will then travel to major cities including Los Angeles (Aero Theater, Los Feliz 3 Theatre), Washington, DC (AFI Silver Theater), San Francisco (Castro Theater), Chicago (Music Box Theater), Atlanta (Plaza Theater), Dallas (Texas Theater), Denton (Fine Arts Theatre), and Boston (Coolidge Corner Theatre) throughout November and December.

Besides catching the film in theaters, fans will also have opportunities to listen to a live recording from Winter's Carnegie Hall performance, adding another layer to this exciting release.
