Being Neet doesn't just mean being unemployed; it includes those who are economically inactive, meaning they aren't even looking for work due to health issues or other barriers. This trend suggests that the transition from school to adulthood is becoming increasingly difficult for many.

The review is expected to call for major changes across several government sectors. Experts believe that if the trajectory isn't reversed now, the long-term impact on the economy and social mobility could be devastating.
