The deceased have been identified as Sumit, 32, a resident of Trilokpuri in Delhi, and Rekha, 26, from Sector 101 in Noida. The couple had reportedly been together for more than a decade, with families aware of their relationship. A relative described Sumit as the younger brother who had attended family functions with Rekha, and emphasized there was never any pressure from their side for a different arrangement.
