Florence Pugh Stuns in Gothic Rodarte at 'East of Eden' Premiere!
Florence Pugh brought dramatic, Goth-inspired flair to the 'East of Eden' premiere in London, dazzling in a voluminous Rodarte gown with ruby jewels. Get all the details on her show-stopping look!
Florence Pugh once again captivated the red carpet, this time at the highly anticipated "East of Eden" premiere in London. The Oscar-nominated actress made a striking appearance in a voluminous, Gothic-inspired gown from Rodarte's fall 2026 collection, showcasing a dramatic aesthetic that perfectly complemented the evening's grandeur.
The stunning ensemble, curated by Rodarte founders and creative directors Kate and Laura Mulleavy, featured a crushed black fabric with an array of bundled elements and ruffles. The off-the-shoulder sleeves nodded to a slight Victorian era style, presenting a gravity-defying and highly artistic design.
A cinched waist provided a defined silhouette, while the skirt flowed into a crumpled black fabric with a subtle train, creating a truly unforgettable look on the London red carpet.
Despite the gown's dark, Gothic nature, Pugh infused bursts of sensual color through her accessories and makeup.
She adorned a diamond and ruby choker necklace, featuring a prominent hero gemstone, which beautifully mirrored her ruby red lips. Her makeup was completed with defined brows and subtly lined eyes, adding to her striking appearance.
This isn't the first time Pugh has chosen Rodarte for her "East of Eden" press tour. Earlier in the week, she attended a photo call and Q&A at the British Library, where she sported a coordinated pleated look from the American label's fall 2019 collection. Throughout the press tour, Pugh has been meticulously styled by Rebecca Corbin Murray, also donning pieces from other renowned designers like Dior, Chloé, and Vivienne Westwood.
Pugh stars alongside Christopher Abbott and Mike Faist in Zoe Kazan's adaptation of John Steinbeck's seminal novel, "East of Eden." The limited series delves into the Trask family's journey through generations, exploring themes of good and evil.
Fans can mark their calendars as the series is set to arrive on Netflix on October 1.
Pugh has reportedly had a “beautiful time” making the series, promising an engaging adaptation for viewers.
