ICICI Bank Q4 2026: Profit Up 8.5%, Rs 12 Dividend Declared
ICICI Bank posts strong Q4 FY26 with profit rising 8.5% and a Rs 12 per share dividend recommended, pending approvals.
ICICI Bank reported a standalone net profit of ₹13,701.68 crore for the March quarter of FY26, up 8.5% year-on-year from ₹12,629.58 crore a year earlier. The lender's total income for Q4 stood at ₹50,584.38 crore, up from ₹49,690.87 crore in Q4 FY25.
Net interest income rose 8.4% YoY to ₹22,979 crore, while the net interest margin came in at 4.32%. Operating expenses rose to ₹12,088.95 crore from ₹10,788.76 crore. Provisions (excluding tax) fell sharply to ₹96.16 crore from ₹890.70 crore.
On the asset side, the bank's total loan portfolio grew 15.8% YoY to ₹15,53,893 crore as of March 31, 2026, with the retail segment expanding 9.5% YoY and now accounting for 50.4% of the loan book.
The board also recommended a dividend of ₹12 per share (face value ₹2), subject to shareholder approvals. If approved at the AGM, the payout will be made to equity shareholders.
Analysts view the results as a sign of resilience in a challenging macro environment, with the bank continuing to grow both income and lending while keeping provisions in check.
