The quiet Tivli village in Maharashtra's Washim district has been shaken by a profound tragedy, as four members of a single family were found dead in what authorities suspect to be a suicide. The heartbreaking incident involves a husband, wife, and their two young children.
According to officials, the deceased husband reportedly died by hanging, while his wife, son, and daughter tragically jumped into a well. The bodies were recovered by the Shirpur Police, who have promptly launched a thorough inquiry into the circumstances surrounding these deaths.
Sub-Inspector Imran Pathan of the Shirpur Police Station confirmed that their team, including PSI Tade, rushed to the scene around 4:30 PM after receiving information about the incident. "Around 4:30 PM, our police channel received information regarding an incident happened in Tivli village in which a man had hanged himself, while his wife, son, and daughter had committed suicide by jumping into a well. Immediately, our officer, PSI Tade, along with our staff, visited the site and conducted a preliminary assessment," SI Pathan stated.
All four bodies have been transported to the mortuary, and a post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted. Police anticipate that the post-mortem results will provide crucial insights into the exact sequence of events and help clarify what transpired. The investigation is ongoing to determine the factors that led to this devastating family loss.
