Oasis Fan's 'Hunger Games' for Knebworth 2027 Tickets! 🎸
An Oasis fan describes the intense "Hunger Games" battle among friends for just four Knebworth 2027 reunion tour tickets. The struggle for the Gallagher brothers' comeback is real!
An Oasis fan has opened up about the intense "Hunger Games" style battle for tickets to the band's massive 2027 reunion tour, revealing how 10 friends are now fighting over just four precious passes. The highly anticipated return of the Gallagher brothers is proving to be a challenge for even the most dedicated fans.
Tom Leech and his nine friends were all eagerly hoping to secure ticket codes for the Live '27 tour. However, only Tom's best friend, Mick, who resides in Australia, managed to successfully receive a code. Mick then used this golden ticket to purchase four entry passes for Oasis' Knebworth show scheduled for September 18.
Apparently, Mick kept his success under wraps for a while. Tom explained,
He purposely stayed quiet when he got through. He didn't tell us until he sent a screenshot saying, 'You're in, Oasis 2027 Knebworth,' because he didn't want us to get our hopes up.
This caution stemmed from the chaotic experience of the 2025 reunion tour, where many fans faced website crashes and payment issues.
The screenshot, when finally dropped into the group chat, sparked immediate celebration. However, joy soon turned to a logistical challenge: how to divide just four tickets among ten friends. Tom candidly stated, "Everyone's obviously celebrating but you can only get four tickets per code, I think it is.
So currently it's the Hunger Games between our friendship group to work out who's going to have them."
Despite securing some tickets, the group isn't giving up. They are continuously refreshing their inboxes, hoping more codes will arrive to ensure everyone gets a chance to see the iconic band. Their goal is to attend at least one Knebworth show, some Manchester dates, and possibly even an international gig.
"Knebworth is obviously a good start," Tom added.
The friends are seasoned veterans of Oasis ticket scrambles, with Tom himself having navigated the 2025 reunion tour's challenges, eventually scoring tickets for Cardiff and Manchester shows. What makes this 2027 tour particularly special for them is the hope of finally experiencing Oasis all together. Having grown up listening to the band and attending gigs for over two decades, Oasis remains the one act they've never collectively seen live.
Tom expressed their collective wish:
We're desperately trying to make sure that we get ideally one of the Knebworth ones where all of us can go.
The story highlights the immense demand and emotional connection fans have with Oasis, turning ticket acquisition into a high-stakes, dramatic event.
