Bronchitis Strikes: Barry Manilow's Vegas Comeback Cut Short, Shows Canceled!
Fanilows, take note! Music icon Barry Manilow's highly anticipated Las Vegas residency hits a snag as bronchitis forces him to cancel shows. Get the latest update here.
Las Vegas is once again experiencing a momentary pause in the magic of Barry Manilow, as the legendary singer's much-anticipated return to the stage has been cut short due to illness. The 83-year-old icon was performing at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on Friday night when he had to end his concert after just two songs. Following this abrupt halt, his scheduled Saturday night performance was also canceled.
A representative for Manilow confirmed that the "Copacabana" singer is currently battling bronchitis.
This health setback comes just one full show into his latest return to his Las Vegas residency, disappointing many fans who were eager to see him perform.
This isn't the first health challenge for Manilow in recent times. In December 2025, he faced a lung cancer diagnosis, which led to the postponement of several dates on his planned US farewell tour. The subsequent prolonged recovery period also forced him to push back additional shows and delay the initial start of his Las Vegas residency, which was originally slated for May.
Fans hoping to catch Manilow live will now need to look ahead.
His next scheduled performance at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is currently set for October 15th.
Well wishes are pouring in for the beloved entertainer as he recovers.
