Liverpool survive a late fightback to beat Everton 3-2 at Goodison Park, with a red card for Grace Fisk and a late Kramzar strike sealing the victory.
Liverpool fought back from a three-goal deficit to beat Everton 3-2 at Goodison Park in a dramatic Merseyside derby. Ceri Holland gave Liverpool the lead from the penalty spot after Grace Fisk's shot was blocked by the hand of Inma Gabarro, then Alejandra Bernabé's cross deflected into Martina Fernández's own net to double the visitors' advantage. Holland added a third before half-time as she carried the ball into the area and found the top corner.
Everton mounted a late comeback after the hour, Aurora Galli's free-kick deflecting off Fisk's shoulder to wrong-foot Jennifer Falk and reduce the arrears. In the restart, Fisk clipped Zara Kramzar from behind and earned a second yellow card, leaving Everton with a slender chance of completing the turnaround. Galli then set up Kramzar, who fired home to make it 3-2 in added time. Ruby Mace had one final chance to level but could not convert from inside the area.
Everton stay sixth in the WSL table while Liverpool, in 10th, closed the gap to their city rivals to three points and avenged the 4-1 defeat they suffered at Anfield earlier in the season.
