Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently embarked on a culinary tour of Beijing, visiting No. 69 Fangzhuanchang Noodles in the Nanluoguxiang area to sample zhajiangmian, a Beijing staple of thick soybean-paste sauce with veggies and meat. The dish earned enthusiastic approval from Huang, who was filmed eating outside the Michelin-starred restaurant, which also carries Bib Gourmand status for good food at a reasonable price. “It’s so good,” he said as crowds gathered and streamed the moment on social media. Huang also tried douzhi’er, a gray-green, slightly sour fermented soybean drink, whose divisive flavor drew a wincing response before he settled the moment with a sweet drink from Mixue Bingcheng.
