Viral Video: Biker Hit, Car Flees on Gurugram Road! Police Investigate

A terrifying incident unfolded on Gurugram's Golf Course Road on Sunday, September 13, 2026, when a woman biker, identified as Sia, was allegedly rammed by a car that had been chasing her. The harrowing collision, captured by an action camera mounted on her motorcycle, has since gone viral, prompting an immediate response from Gurugram Police.

Sia, who manages the Instagram page 'rebelwheels_sia_', was riding her Aprilia RS 457 with her biking group when a white car began aggressively pursuing her. According to Sia, the car repeatedly came too close, and its occupants behaved belligerently. She signaled for them to maintain distance, but they reportedly demanded she stop.

Sia also alleged that the men in the car appeared to be intoxicated.

Despite her efforts to evade them, with a friend trying to shield her, the car continued its pursuit.

The driver then attempted to cut in front of her, resulting in the vehicle hitting her bike horizontally.

The impact threw Sia off her motorcycle, sending it sliding several meters before it finally came to a halt.

Shockingly, the car sped away without stopping to render aid.

In a display of quick thinking, one of Sia's friends chased the fleeing vehicle and confronted the driver at a traffic signal. However, the driver reportedly denied responsibility for the crash and continued to drive away. The video footage clearly shows the car's registration number, HR30Y4949.

Gurugram Police have taken swift action, launching a suo motu inquiry into the incident. DCP Sandeep Kumar confirmed that an FIR has been registered at Sector 56 police station, even without a formal complaint from the victim. Three teams have been deployed, and raids are underway to apprehend the accused.

Meanwhile, Manish, the registered owner of the car, stated that a friend had borrowed his vehicle two days prior and he only learned about the crash the following morning.

Sia has since appealed to Gurugram Police, emphasizing the danger she faced and the driver's irresponsible act of fleeing.

Her video has triggered widespread concern on social media, with numerous users tagging police departments and demanding accountability.

"I have nothing to say, but today I felt unsafe on Gurugram roads.

People like these aren't afraid of hitting people and running away,” Sia stated, highlighting the urgent need for safer roads.
