Animal Services Shelter, patiently awaiting his owner. However, despite the widespread attention, no one came forward to claim the celebrity piglet.

It was here that Oscar-nominated songwriter Diane Warren, through her Diane Warren Foundation, stepped in. Marcia Zwilling, managing director of the foundation, secured the winning bid, ensuring Wilbur’s future.
Warren, a passionate animal advocate, shared her joy with Variety, recounting how friends sent her footage of the runaway pig. “We agreed that we gotta save this pig!” she exclaimed, drawing parallels to a cow rescue five years prior. She emphasized the foundation's commitment: “Whatever it takes we gotta get this pig and give him a safe, wonderful home.” Wilbur, estimated to be around 11 weeks old, is now settling into his new life at Warren's Moosebutt Rescue Ranch, already a beloved member of the family. “Wilbur is the cutest little thing, and he’s a celebrity now! Animals are precious sentient creatures. Welcome Wilbur!!!” Warren celebrated via email.
