Samsung Galaxy S26 Set for Unpacked 2026 on Feb 25
Samsung's Galaxy S26 lineup teased with a redesigned camera island, privacy screen tech, and OneUI 8.5 on Android 16, with India pre-orders already open ahead of the February 25 event.
Samsung has scheduled Galaxy Unpacked 2026 for February 25 to unveil the Galaxy S26 series, just before Mobile World Congress. This year’s lineup is expected to bring a notable design shift and upgraded cameras while keeping core specs familiar.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are rumored to feature a quad-camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The most visible change appears to be the camera island, which is said to be redesigned into an elliptical pill rather than the traditional vertical stack.
On the software and battery front, the devices are expected to ship with OneUI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box. Battery capacities are tipped to remain similar to last year, around 4,000mAh for the base model and 4,900mAh for the bigger variant, with charging speeds of 25W and 45W respectively. A notable upgrade claimed by Samsung is a new privacy-focused screen technology designed to better protect user data.
Pricing is predicted to be in line with the previous generation, though official figures will come at launch. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to continue with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, with other hardware规格 remaining in line with its predecessor.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series are already open in India, with a refundable token of Rs 999 and benefits worth Rs 2,699. Customers can reserve via Samsung’s official site, exclusive stores, Amazon, Flipkart, and leading retailers nationwide.
