Women Are Skipping Marriage, and There’s Nothing Wrong With That
Women Are Skipping Marriage, and There’s Nothing Wrong With That
Yeah, I’m not interested in marriage or living with anyone. And you know what? That’s perfectly okay. In fact, it’s more than okay; it’s liberating. Why should I feel pressured to fit into society’s expectations of what a relationship should be? Why should I follow the traditional path of getting married and settling down with someone just because that’s what everyone else does?

I don’t need a piece of paper to validate my love for someone. Our commitment does not require us to live together because we already demonstrate our dedication to each other. I achieve happiness without following traditional social standards. A successful relationship does not need two people to marry or live together. The relationship between two people actually suffers from these practices. Living with another person creates additional pressure, leading to disputes and bitterness. The divorce rate clearly demonstrates the institution of marriage. The divorce rate clearly demonstrates the institution of marriage.

I've always found it quite strange how society is so obsessed with the idea of a perfect relationship. Besides being quite exaggerated, it's downright suffocating. Since childhood, we have been exposed to the concept of a flawless relationship through movies, fairy tales, songs, etc. The perfect relationship story is finding the one, marriage, children, and living happily ever after. But what if my hesitations are not in line with the story? What if I don't really believe in the institution of marriage? What if I decide that I do not want kids? Does it then really make me an inferior person?
Honestly, the truth is that society's view of relationships is so out of date and very narrow-minded. Saying that there is only one way to be happy in a relationship is just crazy. There are unlimited ways of finding happiness and satisfaction in a relationship; they don't all have to be the traditional method.

There are also some reasons like:
- They concentrate more on their professions.
- They have had negative relationships and experiences in the past.
- They are afraid of getting it wrong again.
- They have financial motivations.
So, if you are wondering why I have no interest in marriage or living with someone, it's just that I don't have to be. I also don't have to fit into the mold of what society thinks a relationship should be. I am free to create the kind of relationship I want to have. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is genuinely freeing.
