Why You Should Miss the Epic Remake of 3:10 to Yuma
When Gladiator and Batman are not good enough to make it the WEST. Clint Eastwood be disappointed.
Yeah... Our very own Gladiator and Batman are back in action.. this time in a western classic remake of the same name 3:10 to Yuma. The plot is all set for action, adventure, guns and horse riding. Ben Wade (Russel Crowe) is head of a gang which has done scores of robberies and killed countless innocent people.

Dan Evans (Christian Bale) is an ex army sharp shooter who's now a struggling ranch owner and is trying to make an honest living. Circumstances lead him to take up job of delivering a caught bandit (Crowe) to the train to Yuma prison. So we are all set for a thrilling adventure and along with power packed performances from Crowe and Bale, superb direction and screenplay make this movie a true entertainer. But.. but... butt here's a spoiler... I just couldn't comprehend the climax.. it was as bad a Emran Hashmi thriller like Woh Lamhe.
Ben Wade who's trying his best to escape throughout the journey gets sudden enlightenment from God.. and does what is least expected out of him... to me this was the biggest point of inflection.. which made the movie from marvelous to miserable. Most movie critiques like Roger Ebert have given 3:10 to Yuma four stars praising every aspect of the movie; even IMDb have given it a score of 8+, but I find hard to recommend this movie to anyone..
You can definitely watch it for the big two Hollywood hunks.. but there's nothing more than that.. The climax is so disappointing that it will make you re-think on entire plot.
