BTS Reveals ARIRANG Tracklist, Swim to Lead as Title Track

BTS has unveiled the 14-track ARIRANG, their highly anticipated full-length comeback, with 'Swim' serving as the title track and the closing number 'Into the Sun' providing a climactic finish. The project brings together a roster of top collaborators, including Mike WiLL Made-It, Flume, Diplo, El Guincho, JPEGMAFIA, and Ryan Tedder, underscoring the band's expansive, globally-minded approach to this release.

The group took a hands-on approach to the creation of ARIRANG. RM reportedly had a hand in every track except the interlude, underscoring the project as a collective journey. SUGA and J-Hope are credited on multiple songs, including 'Body to Body,' 'Merry Go Round,' and 'Normal,' while Jimin contributed to 'they don’t know ’bout us' and 'Into the Sun.' V worked on '2.0' and also contributed to 'Into the Sun,' and Jungkook helped shape four tracks, including 'Hooligan.' These details highlight the members’ active creative involvement beyond their performances.

The album title ARIRANG draws from a traditional Korean folk song, chosen for its resonance with BTS’s current journey and its aim to connect across generations and cultures. The broader message of ARIRANG centers on universal emotions of longing and love, suggesting a timeless, cross-cultural appeal that BTS has cultivated over their 13-year run.

Adding to the anticipation, BTS announced a massive world tour to accompany ARIRANG, kicking off in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9 and continuing to stages in the United States, including a Tampa stop in late April. The release date for ARIRANG is March 20, positioning the album as a pivotal moment for the group as they reunite after solo projects and extended pauses. This project marks their first full-length group album since 2020, heightening expectations among fans worldwide.
