Spencer Tepe and Monique Tepe were found dead in their Columbus home on Dec. 30, triggering a homicide investigation.
The Tepe couple had two young children inside the residence but unharmed, authorities said.
A coworker told investigators they heard the children crying from inside before officers arrived, and frantic 911 calls from inside the home described the scene.
Investigators have not released suspects or motive, and the case remains under active review by local police.
