The dramatic entrance took place during Kimmel's final monologue before his annual summer break, continuing their legendary, long-running comedic feud that dates back to 2005.

The stage was set when a delivery driver interrupted Kimmel, bringing in a massive wooden horse. Kimmel, playing along, expressed surprise, claiming he hadn't ordered any horse. But the real surprise came when the smaller, second horse was insisted upon, and out popped none other than Matt Damon himself, to huge applause from the audience.
