During his visit, Prime Minister Modi, alongside his Kiwi counterpart Christopher Luxon, set an ambitious five-year target to double their annual bilateral trade in goods and services to an impressive ₹35,000 crore by 2030. The leaders engaged in extensive talks, which culminated in 18 concrete outcomes, including the signing of 10 agreements designed to foster deeper collaboration across various sectors.
A highlight of the visit was PM Modi's tour of an exhibition showcasing New Zealand's innovative sports equipment and technologies. This display featured cutting-edge innovations demonstrated by some of the country's leading athletes and sporting icons, underscoring the potential for technological exchange and collaboration. The Ministry of External Affairs highlighted this on X, noting the leaders witnessed these advancements together.
