Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, a celebrated son of Uttarakhand, made a heartfelt public appeal to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, seeking assistance to acquire land in his home state. Pant revealed on social media platform X that he has been trying for the past three years to secure land to relocate his base from Delhi to Uttarakhand but has faced significant challenges.
The star cricketer expressed his deep connection to his roots, stating, "It's a long time for me, especially being local from Uttarakhand. I have been trying to buy land to shift my base from Delhi to Uttarakhand and I couldn't find anything facilitating and big to live here.
I love my Uttarakhand." Pant's desire extends beyond personal relocation; he aims to "move back to my native place to help and build around Uttarakhand and I want to shift back to my Pahadi people." He specifically requested the CM's help in land acquisition, calling the process a "nightmare with clarity."
Responding swiftly and positively, Chief Minister Dhami assured Pant of full government support.
