II PU Exam Begins at 51 Centres in Mysuru with Tight Security and Webcasting

The second PU examination began at 51 centres across Mysuru district on Saturday, with elaborate arrangements by the district administration to ensure a smooth and fair conduct. Nearly 36,000 students had registered for the examination, and a central control room was set up in the city to monitor the process. Webcasting facilities were arranged at all centres across the district, enabling real-time oversight of exam activities.

As part of the security framework, police imposed prohibitory orders around the examination centres to deter any malpractice. Each centre is equipped with CCTV cameras for continuous monitoring, and adequate security personnel were deployed to maintain order and discipline on the day. The administration emphasized that all precautionary steps had been taken to ensure transparency and fairness throughout the examination.

To oversee operations, Additional Deputy Commissioner P. Shivaraj visited the control room, supervised the webcasting proceedings, and coordinated with department officials and mobile squads regarding exam-day arrangements. The presence of senior officials underscored the priority given to credible assessment and student welfare.
