Two days after their real wedding in Udaipur, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna offered cinema fans a different kind of memory with Ranabaali's wedding poster. The director, Rahul Sankrityan, described the moment as more than a promotional image; he asked for a simple backdrop, no dramatic lighting, and a posture of stillness. “The late 1800s were not glamorous times. They were harsh, grounded, deeply rooted in soil and survival. But within that world, marriages carried dignity. Weight. Permanence,” he wrote. When the couple arrived on set in wedding costumes, the decision paid off: “They didn’t look like actors playing dress-up.
