TDP Unveils Rajya Sabha Picks: Focus on Social Engineering & Youth!

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has officially unveiled its chosen candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, signaling a strategic move focused on social engineering, party loyalty, and the promotion of emerging leadership. The selections were announced by party president and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who personally presented the B-Forms to the nominees at his camp office on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

The three prominent figures nominated are Chintakayala Vijay, Bhashyam Ramakrishna, and Sana Satish. Each candidate brings a unique background and established commitment to the party's objectives.

Chintakayala Vijay is a well-known name in political circles, being the son of Legislative Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu. He currently serves as the TDP’s State general secretary, highlighting his active role in the party's organizational structure.

Sana Satish, a familiar face in the Upper House, receives a re-nomination for the Rajya Sabha. He was initially elected in 2024, and his current term is scheduled to conclude on June 21. His re-selection underscores his continued contributions and trust within the party.

Bhashyam Ramakrishna completes the trio. He is widely recognized as the founder chairman of Bhashyam Educational Institutions, bringing a strong background in education and community service to his political role.

The party emphasized that these nominations were not arbitrary but were the result of careful consideration.
