Modi unveils ₹14,260 crore projects in Chhattisgarh on Foundation Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked Chhattisgarh's 25th Foundation Day by announcing development projects worth ₹14,260 crore, spanning roads, industry, healthcare and energy, designed to accelerate the state's growth under the Viksit Bharat mission. The package aims to lay the groundwork for improved connectivity, better healthcare, and stronger energy and industrial corridors across nine districts.

In a moment that drew wide attention, he interacted with children treated for congenital heart disease and unveiled a statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the new assembly building, a symbol of continuity and public service.

Chhattisgarh also hosted the first digital museum dedicated to tribal freedom fighters in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, bringing stories of resistance and sacrifice to a digital stage.

Officials say the ₹14,260-crore package aligns with the government's broader goal of making India a global first responder and building a stronger foundation for a developed and resilient nation.

With celebrations marking the silver jubilee, the government stressed that the investments are expected to boost job creation, healthcare access, road connectivity and industrial prospects, strengthening ties between rural communities and urban centers.
