CBSE Exams in Gulf Postponed Again Amid Regional Tensions
CBSE postpones Class 10 and 12 exams across Gulf states amid regional tensions; new dates to be announced after a review by officials.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled for March 5 and March 6 in Gulf countries due to ongoing regional tensions stemming from the Iran-US-Israel dynamics. A circular dated March 3 informed principals of more than 150 CBSE-affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE that the new dates will be announced later. The exams were originally set for March 2 but had already been postponed two days earlier. The board will review the situation again on Thursday and decide on examinations from March 7 onwards. Students are advised to stay in touch with their schools for updates and to follow official announcements closely.
