BEL Hits Record Highs with Rs 2,226 Crore Q4 Profit & Dividend Boost!
BEL reports a strong 5% rise in Q4 profit to Rs 2,226 crore! With steady growth in defense projects and a new dividend announcement, here’s why investors are cheering.
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has once again demonstrated its strength in the defense electronics sector, posting a solid 5% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the March quarter. The state-run giant reported a profit after tax of Rs 2,226 crore for Q4 FY26, climbing from Rs 2,127 crore during the same period last year. This growth is largely attributed to the steady execution of key defense projects and a healthy rise in operational revenue.
The good news for investors doesn't stop at profits. BEL's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.55 per equity share, rewarding shareholders for a successful financial year. Revenue from operations saw a significant 11% jump, reaching Rs 10,224 crore. While the company faced higher expenses—totaling Rs 7,417 crore due to ramped-up production and increased material costs—it managed to keep its margins healthy through efficient project management.
Reflecting on the full financial year of 2026, BEL’s performance has been nothing short of impressive. The company’s total net profit for the year rose by 14% to Rs 6,062 crore, while annual revenue hit Rs 27,610 crore. With the defense sector continuing to prioritize local manufacturing and high-tech electronics, BEL seems well-positioned to maintain its upward trajectory in the coming quarters.
