Apple Unveils Foldable iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro & More! 🍏✨

A new era has officially dawned at Apple, with former CEO Tim Cook handing over the reins to the company's new leader, John Ternus. In his inaugural product event, Ternus unveiled a series of groundbreaking innovations, most notably Apple's first-ever foldable device: the iPhone Duo. This marks a significant shift for the tech giant, which has been reportedly working on foldable technology for a decade, aiming to perfect it before its grand debut.

The highly anticipated iPhone Duo is described as a "passport-sized" foldable, boasting a starting price of $1,999 for the 256 GB model. Designed with a landscape style and a vertical magnetic hinge, it opens like a book. When closed, it features a 5.3-inch external screen, expanding to a 7.7-inch landscape display when open.

Crafted with a titanium frame and a custom polymer screen for enhanced durability, the Duo is powered by Apple's proprietary A20 Pro chip, also found in the new Pro-model iPhone 18s, and a custom C2 modem.

Its horizontal format allows for iPad-like app experiences, adapting seamlessly as the screen folds.

However, at 254 grams, its weight might be a consideration for some users.

Beyond the foldable marvel, Apple also revealed its latest lineup of iPhone 18 Pro models, packed with advanced features and performance upgrades. Fans can also look forward to updates to the popular Apple Watch series and new AirPods, promising improved connectivity and audio experiences. Furthermore, significant advancements were announced for Siri AI, hinting at more intuitive and powerful smart assistance.

Notably absent from this event were announcements for the base-model iPhone 18, which are expected early next year.

There was also no mention of Vision Pro, iPads, or Macs, although new desktop Macs were unveiled just last month. This event primarily focused on the new mobile hardware and AI capabilities, setting a bold new direction under John Ternus's leadership.
