The mountaineering world is in deep mourning following the tragic news of legendary climber Nirmal Purja, affectionately known as Nims Dai, and members of his expedition team perishing in a devastating avalanche on Broad Peak. The incident occurred on the treacherous slopes of the mountain, situated in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, claiming the lives of at least four individuals, with reports indicating a potential death toll of up to ten climbers.
