India Sets 3 Guinness World Records in Swasth Nari Campaign
India's nationwide Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan earns three Guinness World Records for mass health registrations and screenings, highlighting women's health outreach across districts.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced that India has set three Guinness World Records under the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan, which ran from September 17 to October 2, 2025 in conjunction with Poshan Maah. The records include the most people to register for a healthcare platform in one month (3,21,49,711), the most people to sign up for a breast cancer screening online in one week (9,94,349), and the most people to sign up for vital signs screening online in one week at the state level (1,25,406). The campaign was designed to reach every district and boost preventive care, focusing on the health and nutrition of women, adolescent girls, and children.
The initiative mobilized millions to register for healthcare platforms, enroll in breast cancer screening, and sign up for vital signs checks, underscoring a broad push for preventive and women-centric healthcare. By combining digital outreach with on-ground participation, the campaign demonstrated how large-scale public health programs can achieve rapid, tangible results across diverse communities.
Launched as part of a national drive during Poshan Maah, SNSPA aimed to strengthen early detection and ensure access to essential health services, while encouraging families to adopt healthier lifestyles. Officials emphasized that registrations are a stepping stone toward ongoing health checks and sustained engagement with essential services.
Experts say the feat highlights accelerating digital health adoption and could spur further investments in preventive services. Public enthusiasm on social media reflected pride in the achievement, with many noting the potential for continued impact beyond the Guinness recognition. The campaign marks a milestone in India’s public health journey and showcases how coordinated outreach can yield measurable outcomes.
