CSK Inducts Raina and Hayden into First Hall of Fame at Roar’26
Chennai Super Kings induct Suresh Raina and Matthew Hayden into the club's inaugural Hall of Fame at Roar’26, celebrating two IPL legends at Chepauk.
Chennai Super Kings marked a milestone at their Roar’26 fan engagement when they inducted Suresh Raina and Matthew Hayden into the franchise’s inaugural Hall of Fame at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Raina, nicknamed Chinna Thala, was CSK’s backbone from 2008 to 2021, helping lift four titles (2010, 2011, 2018, 2021). He remains CSK’s leading run-scorer with 5,529 runs, including two centuries and 38 fifties, and also shone in Champions League T20 play.
Hayden, who featured for CSK from 2008 to 2010, was part of the 2010 IPL-winning side and captured the Orange Cap in 2009 after scoring 572 runs. His CSK tally stands at 1,117 runs with eight fifties.
The ceremony was attended by former CSK stars including Muttiah Muralitharan, Ambati Rayudu, Lakshmipathy Balaji, S Badrinath and Michael Hussey, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
This hall of fame moment cements CSK’s rich history and gives fans a new landmark to cheer at ahead of IPL 2026.
