The deceased has been identified as Kala, a 50-year-old woman, whose legs were severed in the impact. The injured were rushed to medical facilities in Tiruvannamalai, with some taken directly to Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College Hospital. A boy and the cylinder operator were reported to be in a critical condition, and six of the injured were admitted to the intensive care unit.
