The Vaigai dam, another key reservoir in the region, was recorded at 69.03 feet (maximum 71 feet) with an inflow of 1,990 cusecs and a discharge of 1,721 cusecs. Combined storage in the Periyar basin stood at about 10,142.85 mcft, reflecting steady reservoir management amid ongoing water flow.
