Veronica Beard is diving headfirst into a world of mega-femininity for their Spring 2027 collection, aptly named “The Secret Garden.” After seasons of gradually reintroducing more ladylike elements, this collection pushes the boundaries of feminine fashion further than ever before. “We're really leaning back into a lot of mega femininity this season,” shared Veronica Swanson Beard. She described the new aesthetic as “easier and more fluid,” promising a runway filled with translucent materials, delicate lace cutouts, soft linens, and chic Lucite jewelry.

Florals, a spring staple, are reimagined with playful creativity by Veronica Swanson Beard and her sister-in-law, Veronica Miele Beard. Their chosen motif, multicolored flowers on a creeping vine, graces a silk scarf top, a beaded bag (sure to be a hit at spring weddings!), and a sparkling sequined two-piece set.

But they didn't stop at the obvious; the floral theme also appears as a dreamy, watercolor-esque print on a structured utilitarian jacket and boldly splashed across a grungier black floral jacquard maxi dress, offering fresh interpretations.

While femininity reigns supreme, the collection isn't solely about skirts and dresses.

The designers, known for their innovative denim, present a floaty trompe l'oeil version this season.

Picture a shiny mirror organza take on a classic chambray shirt and jeans, applying the same diaphanous feel to a black set, and even a white blazer paired with coordinating Bermuda shorts. Matching sets emerge as true heroes of “The Secret Garden.” Highlights include a cropped nude jacket with a matching pencil skirt in oversized floral lace, and a boudoir-inspired teal lace-trimmed tank top paired with satin pants.

A particular standout is a dainty pink, white, and green gradient pointelle set, featuring a bohemian bell-sleeve top and midi skirt. This exquisite look was credited to one of their talented interns from the Veronica Beard x CFDA Creative Futures Scholarship program, marking the second consecutive year the brand has supported four college juniors with a summer opportunity.
