Following its successful launch and separation from the rocket, the telescope will journey to Lagrange point 2, a stable orbital position approximately 1.6 million kilometers from Earth, where the James Webb Space Telescope also resides.
This strategic location will allow Roman to conduct its deep-space observations unimpeded.
