On that rainy day, Rhiya joined an impromptu student protest related to what is known as the "Cockroach Janta Party protests." She witnessed a police van carrying young protesters and instinctively intervened. Rhiya, also known as Rhiya Yadav, comes from a military background; her father is a retired Army veteran. She revealed that her father fully supports her actions, stating, "He does not agree with what is happening to our youth." This family backing has provided her with strength and conviction.
